SHARPENING and SERVICING
When you notice that the blades are wearing down[visual metal wear] and getting dull and slower,its time for a service.
You can send them to Power Snips by Registered Mail ; P.O. Box 1046 ; Macleay Island, Qld. 4184 .
And for $35.00 GST incl. have them sharpened and serviced.
CONTINUOSLY VARIABLE - SCRIBER RIPPERS
Put the drill switch in LOCK then remove indicator screw and loosen slide lock, then extract slide with blades attached. Ultimate Mk4- remove slide lock screw completely then extract
Send blades with slide attached only. Please package safely for Post.
SCRIBERS
Put the drill switch in LOCK then loosen the four grub screws at the 43mm collar ,with a gloved hand grab the head around
the followers, twist and pull off.
Send cutter head with blades attached only. Please package safely for Post.

CARE and MAINTINENCE
Pivot Pin Tension should kept notice of at all times. If the blade followers can move sideways at all, tighten the 10mm pivot pin nut and stop.
just when the blade followers stop moving sideways - not any tighter. Refer to Instruction booklet or Phone Us
Keep a cutting compound Only on the cutting surfaces of the blades. [If using waxed compound, put a little dab on somewhere on the cutter for later use so you do not have to carry it on the roof]
Waxed Cutting Compound is available from Power Snips. P.S. use it on your hand snips.
Spray Pivot pin and bearings with WD40 or a similar product to flush swarf and dirt out. Then for protection, Spay with Heavy Duty Lanolin Spray.
